Has JJ been back to tell us if he closed or not?

I'm here.. I'm here.. *waving hand wildly*

I have closed. There was a bit of drama as our Illinois bank did not want to release funds but we got that all straightened out and the closing went pretty smoothly. We had moved out of the hovel in the morning and we couldn't take possession of the house until the funds had cleared, which took about an hour or so, but we moved right in and spent the first night sleeping on the a air mattress in the dark with only a couple candles for lighting. No TV, no internet, just... um... never mind.. :)

So yesterday got all of the utilities hooked up, got internet working, it's so nice to have high speed internet again, took a hot shower and unpacked the few things we had in the car. Tomorrow the movers come with all of our other things so it's gonna be a real hectic weekend.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

So nice to be in a regular home again with high speed internet. I was dying at the hovel with it's blazing fast .75 down and .17 up. <- note the decimal points. :)

I jinxed us  It turns out the appraiser for the loan had made offers on the place and the agent feels it is a conflict of interest. She said the guy was a pain in the butt and has a preconceived notion to the value. We are having a separate appraisal done. On top of that there are complications with the loan. We should be able to work it all out but looks like we are delayed *sigh* So, erm, never mind.
