Any ideas on how to get the water to show up more. I was afraid this was going to be a problem while taking the photo and I don't feel like I overcame it in PP

Maybe it would stand out a bit more if you had it on a very slow shutter

Great shot by the way

Thanks, will try the clarity. Also already thinking of going back with a tripod and a nd filter so I could slow that shutter.

Good idea. I think with a longer shutter speed and with a tripod you will get more detail in the water. Also, try to go on a cloudy day or in the early morning when the light isn't as harsh.

Bet at another time in year, maybe when snow begins to melt, you will get more waterflow, especially in the upper falls. That would be the time to return. Very nice location for a great composition.

I'm not sure slowing the shutter would help with this comp. Yes is with smooth out the water but I don't think it would add to the photo because the waterfall is so small compared to the rest of the image it gets lost in the image...especially the upper portion. I would suggest zooming in on the lower portion.

You might be right, but this is a location that would be fun to visit many times. There is a great photo to be had here, and this one is a good start.

Plan to get back, maybe even next weekend. Will try the suggestions from here. I suspect Bianchi has the right idea, spring run off should be awesome.
