Excellent shots, nicely composed. I would also be interested in the specifics of your post processing.

Some tips on the processing: It's actually quite easy and fun.

First, all 3 images were shot in colour and converted to black and white by converting RGB channels to greyscale layers then modifying the opacity of each layer. An easier way is to just choose Channel Mixer and click "monochrome" and play with the sliders but the results aren't as good.

Because these were shot on a very dull, overcast day (right after a snowstorm), the lighting was very flat with few shadows or highlights.

Using a series of adjustment layers and masks, I increased the the contrast, boosting the highlights in the sky (the sky was boring anyway) and snow but trying to retail a small amount of detail in the snow.

Finally, for images # 1 & 2, I oversharpend using USM to give it a a "sketchy" almost "charcoal drawing" effect. For image # 3, I didn't sharpen as much but I'm still futzing around with this image.

I have another image I'll post a bit later tonight for your comments.

Give this workflow a try!

Regards,
SteveZ
