Saturday was the squadron family day/end of era celebration. As it was a rather long day followed by a longer night I haven't had time to do much photo work. But here are a couple from the day.

Great Series. #3 FTW for me.. I saw the 11am routine from outside the base.. Sure would have loved to be on board..

lovely set - sad, but nice.


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Thanks all for the comments, it was a sad but great day for all involved. I still haven't had time to do any more work on the rest of the photos from the day.

No mate #3 is just straight at the sun, I was hoping to get something like this, very happy with the result.

So we have one last day of flying left this Friday morning, I hope to catch the 2 crews going about their pre & post flight tasks just for old times. Stay tuned for more.
