I am planning on buying a Canon Rebel T3i and would like to know what lens to buy for it. I want to take photos from about 3 to 4 feet away and have a photo of something the size of a persons hand fill the screen and be very crisp and clear. I was told that a reflex mirror lens of about 200 to 300 magnification would be best. I am brand new at this so my terminology might not be right about the lens. One of the first things I will be doing is buying a book about lenses because I am really confused by all the numbers.
