Feature Comparisons for Image Editors

Are there any sites that have comparison charts of the features of image editing software such as Photoshop CS2, Paint Shop ProX, PS Elements, etc. Did a Google search and didn't really find much useful. Sort of a, "What's CS2 got under the hood that would tempt me to get it over Paint Shop Pro" is what I'm looking for.

I have dialup, so download trial versions are out of the question for comparison purposes.

I've used the free RSE (RawShooter Essentials) since it came out & wouldn't be without it now. I'd recommend it even though I did upgrade to RSEP.
I usually only go into PS7 to crop, resize & do some final sharpening unless it's a complex shot. With RSE, you could probably use PSE for all your work. You'll get more help here with PS or PSE, too.
PSCS is the industry standard, but it includes a lot of features that you might never use, at least I haven't.

I too was looking out for review / comparison of image editing software. Specifically s/w that aids in Raw File Processing Work Flow. fyi. I use a Canon Digital Rebel

I have been using Raw Shooter for a while and it seems to suit what I've been doing so far with RAW images.
Presently I'm on the fence as to whether I want go with CS2 or not. That's why I'm looking for a comparison chart like the one in above link.
In a recent photo magazine there was an article on how to do a color image conversion to a simulated IR B/W image. It involved using the Channel Mixer in CS2 to do this. I presently have PSE 3.0 and couldn't find a way to do this as described in the article. There are probably plugins for PSE 3.0 that would accomplish the IR simulation, but I'm not sure they would have the same amount of tweakability. The Channel Mixer is just one example of a feature I don't appear to have PSE 3.0 and I don't know what else I don't have compared to other programs. I'm hearing Paint Shop Pro comes close to competing with CS2, but again I have no way of comparing their respective feature sets.

IMO, that's a plus! Everyone seems to want to make B&W images from color these days! Seems they think it's easier than color, which it usually isn't. It's actually harder to make a good B&W image since you don't have the color to save you.
Ansel Adams spent hours in the darkroom just to get one B&W image to come out the way he wanted it to.
Just something to think about.

I'm using PSCS.. however now thta I run RSE/RSP.. as my RAW converter.. I'd say it's safe to say that I could easily live with PS7.. and in many cases Elements will suffice.

It's hard to beat PSCS though
