Australian photographer Sue Bryce inspired natural light portrait. Shot with Canon 5D at ISO 1000 (late afternoon) which unfortunately gave a lot of noise. Ran Noiseware but it left the skin a little too smooth (?)

Light is perfect. Model is perfect - nice eye contact and nice smile.
Colors match both the clothing and the face, and you can sense the intimacy in the room.
The skin is - in my opinion - not affected by your noise reduction. By maybe the resolution around the eyes and hair appears a bit soft. I actually do not mind noise - in many cases it adds another perspective to a shot. Will you show us the photo without noise reduction?

It's a very pretty shot but it's just a little hot on the left for me.

Thanks again :) I will post without noiseware (hope I didn't flatten).
I did brighten it...maybe too much.

Hey there, no raining or parading here :) I am guilty of finding inspiration in fashion magazine covers where it is so common to cut the top of the head that my crop tool just automatically goes there :)
Good point though, for a framed portrait I may be inclined to include it.

Cropping a shot is an artistic freedom, and it is up to the photographer to decide how a given shot is presented.
I get a lot of comments to my pictures like " nice.... except for the cropped fingers, hand, knee, sholder..... Bla. Bla.".
No - you crop as you like, and there is NO ROULES on how a perfect crop should be. In the old days, where everything ended up on photographic paper, some old portrait painters had their ideas, but .... forget it. We are in the next century, and the medium is not silver coated paper or paint.
To all of you "do not crop this and that" fanatics, I must say: if you comment on any given cropping, then the shot is perfect. Cropping is the most insignificant parameter to a picture, given that everything else is ok. So cropping remarks is to me the same as thumbs up.

Great shot.. I personally don't think it's too bright at all... It gives it that lazy summer afternoon feel!

Good work :)
