I the OP is just making a observation, and think it is a good thing to share.

I upgraded about a month ago from a 50d, and seriously looked at nikon for a few weeks. I would agree I thought (I was looking at a d7000) the image q was better, and also colors on the nikon. I found the feel and button layout to feel more like the rebel series. The killer for me was the buffer, I shoot a lot of sports and the nikons buffer fills very quickly and goes from 6 fps to 1 r 2 after a quick burst, so i ended up with a 7d. Anyway, that's why there are many camera manufactures, buy one and go out and have fun....

This sounds like claiming a Snap-On hammer is better at driving nails than a Craftsman hammer. It is not the hammer; it is the hammerER.

Hammers are a hobby of mine. They are not created equal. I'm partial to Belknap/Bluegrass hammers. They are balanced and you can pull a nail, head trailing, all the way through a 2x4 with them. Of course, hammers are used less today than film cameras. Nail guns are the digital hammers of today. ;)

I think that Nikon people are like Samsung People, trying to tell you that it is better then the IPHONE!

A Samsung is better than an iPhone.

Thank you for making my point for me. One hammer is not BETTER than the other. I am sure that if one manufacturer makes a hammer that will do what you stated, so does at least one other manufacturer. The proper selection and implementation of the tool is still up to the person doing the hammer work. The user selects the most appropriate for the specific job at hand. A 7-ounce finish hammer is not the appropriate tool driving a 10p nail into a 6x6 beam. Nor is a 2-pound sledge the right tool for setting finishing nails.

Much as in certain situations a 1Dx or D3H will be more appropriate than an XSi or D3100. It really is the operator, not the camera.
