I've been using the Nik suite for several years now but for various reasons I'm considering other software. Does anyone use OnOne's Perfect suite and, if so, have you compared it to Nik's? It's tough to tell how they might differ.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I think the OnOne iterface is MUCH better and easier to use than the NIK interface. I also think there are more functions built in to the OnOne Suite. I have both and still haven't gotten around to installing the Nik software since I got CS6.

I have onOne Suite-6. Few features I like :
1. LR /PS integration.
2. Perfect Resize (to blow up images ).
3. Perfect Mask for background replacement.
No experience with NIK, however onOne is extremely simple to use.

Last time I tried some OnOne software they didn't support a 64bit version of Photoshop - I assume they do now? Worth checking up on if you run 64bit.

Never used OnOne software, but this is what I get from a quick glance at their website:
Silver Efex = Perfect BW
Color Efex = Perfect Efex
Sharpener Pro = Perfect Resize

OnOne does not have any products to match Dfine, Viveza, or HDR.
Nik does not have any products to match Perfect Portrait, Perfect Mask, or Focal Point.

Guess it all just depends on the tools you need. You could probably adjust to the different interface.

OnOne has their new version 7 out now which has improved over version 6.
In my opinion, OnOne has surpassed what Nik has to offer (especially with V7) and at a better price. I've been a fan of both for quite some time but favour OnOne now.

I have been using onOne products for years and the new version 7 suite is by far their best release to date. The B+W module and portrait 2 is GREAt additions.

I already use Topaz B&W Effects, Denoise, Adjust and Detail but I'm seriously thinking about giving this suite a try.

FYI, you can buy the entire suite for 50% off until November 28, the final price ends up being about $149

Use the coupon code "BLACKFR" during checkout.

Does OnOne have the type, number, and variety of effects found in Nik's ColorEfex?

I have both.

On One Suite 6.x and NIK collection (all current).

I use OOS for enlargement, canvas creation and backgrounds/frames. I use NIK for everything else. The local adjustments in NIK are so much nicer IMO I don't ever open OOS's efects version of CEP.

The version 7 is excellent. After I bought it I hardly use CS6. Only LR4 and OnOne Suite 7
I also have some Nik software but never used it after I got No 7
But the combination of Nik and OnOne together with LR4 is unbeatable

I've been reading a ton about this software for the last day or so and all the reviews are very positive. $149 seems like a pretty good deal for what you get, just ordered it and waiting for my download to finish, it's pretty big at over 650 MB. :D

It used to be call Plug In Suite
and priced at $ 499

$149 is still cheaper than one Nik program
