Going back to the first shot. Great shot but I agree with the other comments that the vignette is a bit heavy and it would look better cropped in tighter to the head.
As it is framed you have most of the animal in, but have cut off the front trotters and one hind leg. It is generally best to include the whole animal or crop in on one part specifically. If you want to show the body, you should show the whole body, as it stands the part of the body shown adds nothing to the image, as you have an image of the head, not the animal.
As competition judges always say in their critique, if something doesn't ADD to the image cut it out. I don't see that part of the hog adding anything.
