Tried my hand at overhead remotes again tonight. Results weren't too bad, though I didn't have a lot of offensive action on my end aside from a few breakaway dunks. Also posted a few floor shots. C&C appreciated as always.

Outstanding! Love to composition on #1. I'd consider cropping #2 more like #3 and #4 and I'd definitely crop the shot of the coach since the player adds nothing imo.

Again, I love the different angles and the quality of the images is top notch!

Thanks guys. Scott, looking at them again, I agree with your thoughts on the cropping.

Unfortunately, no. It was one of those times where I was caught fumbling around trying to grab the camera with the ultra-wide and just gave up and timed the remote shot instead.

Loving the overhead shots on the orange flooring. Like the last wide shot too. How on earth did you fix the remote up there? My local basketball team play in a multi-sport hall with minimum space around the edge and certainly nothing like that!

thanks everybody, really appreciate it.

Hannya, I posted a setup pic in my thread from the first game here: https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=15231018&postcount=10

If you look at that wide shot in this thread, you can see the catwalk up there. There's one that runs right down the spine of the arena that I super clamped the setup to.

Overheards are cool, the last one is my favourite though. Clocks counting down, trying to get the shot off, top work.
