Best after-market manual for Rebel t3i?

Other than the manual that comes with the t3i (which I just bought) what is a good manual for a beginner? I see four seemingly popular ones on eBay: Rebel t3i for Dummies, David Bushes compact field guide for the t3i, Magic Lantern Guides for the Cannon t3i (multimedia field guide - whatever that means), and Charlotte Lowrie's Digital Field Guide for the t3i. Is one of them especially well-written and easy to understand for beginners? I'm not dumb but I feel that way sometimes as I try to understand these new cameras.

read the manual that comes with the camera twice - go out and shoot and read it again. simple

Considering that everything the camera can do is well covered in the manual, I would instead suggest books aimed at helping to understand DSLR photography, which will in turn help you to understand what you're reading in the manual.
This book is geared towards the beginner and is more than just a "this is how your camera works" book....Canon EOS Rebel T3i / 600D: From Snapshots to Great Shots

As far as a solid primer on SLR photographer this book is considered the beginners book:
Understanding Exposure, 3rd Edition: How to Shoot Great Photographs with Any Camera

I would also suggest getting books on photography and not one just for your model, lots of photography books at your local library (or online)

I agree 100% with this statement, I was quite surprised at the number of books was able to get through my local library.

I was reading Canon manual for Rebel every time something was not working out right.
After I realized it can't deliver what I want in auto modes I went through dozens of photography books from the library.
One thing is to know how to operate camera and another important thing is how to understand exposure.
Canon manual is for how to handle the camera. If you having problems to read it, maybe something else will help. But it is hard to tell, which non-Canon book is going to help.
