What are you wanting to shoot? If sunsets/sunrises I would say 3 stop gnd. If mid day landscapes, waterfalls etc then 10 stop would fit the bill

I'm understanding that I need more than just 1 filter in my collection thanx for the help!

Hi
I'll soon bring home a Canon 17-40 / L USM lens and has decided to give me just around a little landscape photography. I can be anything basic about the type of photography even when it comes to using ND filters but the big problem for me is my choice of the ND Filter.

I will go to Gotland within 2 weeks and would then be able to shoot as much as I can. My idea is to capture those pictures at the lake when the water becomes so soft and smooth. So I want to use slow shutter speeds.

But the strength and manufacturers should I choose? I have not really had any idea of the times of day they can use with their respective strengths.

These filters, I have focused myself on:
Haida ND 2.7 NDx400
Door ND 3.0 NDx1000
B + W ND106
B + W ND110

A little help here please Uses me out of a Canon 6D.
