Thanks mate. I use the A7R for all my landscape stuff, The Fuji for everything else. I just couldn't click with the Fuji for landscapes for some reason.

Others seem to find it ok and are producing great shots but I just felt that the detail wasn't there but im a serial pixel peeper. The sony sensor is bonkers. So much detail and range and when you brighten the shadows theres no noise or banding etc. The Fuji is great as a small body to take pics of the family etc

Thanks mate. I'm working in dumfries for 4 months so this was my 3rd visit trying to catch a nice sunset. Wasn't as colourful as I'd hoped so may revisit as its only 15 mins from the b&b

I love the coast for photography...can't much stand the beach just to be there though...

from sunrise this morning on James Island...it was worth the 0445 wake up call...
