Here is a quick shot of my 3 kids with their 75 year old Great Grandfather. The picture has some flaws, but I like it. it was a quick set up before we left. I had forgot to pack my tripod so this was hand held. I really like the Light Sphere II. Shot in RAW with ISO 1600, F/4 and 1/60.

Can I ask a dumb question. Why did you use 1600 ISO? I was taught to always start with 100 and then work your way up.

Sure......I had been shooting pics of the kids that morning in a very poorly lighted livingroom. I had the ISO tuned up and forgot to lower it while taking this shoot. Which was probably a good thing since the lighting was so bad.

Nice light. I'm impressed with the image at 1600 ISO. Nice job, was it run thru a noise package?

Shooting at 1600 also saves flash batteries...

Yes, I ran it through Noiseware Standard.

Very well executed. The lighting is brilliant! The downfall to shooting at 1600 is it doesn't make good for enlarged prints, but yet I also forget from time to time to set it back at a slower speed.

really nice shot. Cute family too! I'm also very impressed with the 1600 ISO, though since I have the XT I would expect a very usable image at 1600. That noiseware really does a great job!

I like that shot too. Looks great and it is great for the memory book.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.
