from my XSi 450D love the ease of Rebels and would like to hear from some users which is best the T2i or T3i, did read some reviews on dpreview but again hearing from you all would help. Why no T4i on a strict budget.

XSi is ISO 1600 max. The other two go to 12,800, but it is essentially and emergency only setting. I wouldn't make the move from XSi to anything less than the 60D. My opinion.

Keep your existing complement of glass and then just get a refurb body for around $640. Do a search here on Canon Loyalty Programfor the details. You do need to trade in a Canon product but that can be a non-working point & shoot, even off eBay.

I never shoot sports but do some macro. I am not camera savvy either....so I have gotten along well with my 450D. Do have some good quality glass.

I'm not a fan of buying a Rebel when first released ever again (got a T2i when it first came out). They put out a new Rebel once a year, and the amount you can save with a little waiting can be substantial. A T3i is not very old but can be had for @ $400. That is an awesome price and a LOT of camera for the money. At $700 or $800... a Rebel is a little overpriced IMO AND in my experience. thank you Brick good points
