That's what you get for a wedding photographer shooting wild life. Clueless..... Worst, the shot was OOF. Should have a 500L f4 IS with him. :) BTW, a bit understanding on lion behaviors would be useful here. Lion isn't a scavenger specie. What are the chances a lion would feed off some dead preys lying on the ground??? And the camera rig was obviously in its way.

I know, the photographer was asking for having his gear being broken like that. Its not the Lion's fault....though we may have a bit of competition from wild animals in the future if photographers keep leaving their gear lying around for animals to snatch it :lol:

Lions are actually incredibly lazy and are quite open to scavenging, often following up on wild dog and hyena to steal their kills

That is still a cool shot as she is walking up to it. Maybe not worth a body getting trashed over it but still cool.
