I don't have a UV filter attached to my lens, and I bought the CPL new from B&H, so I very much assume it is authentic B+W Kaesemann.

I know I shouldn't stack filters, and I never use UV filters anyway (except when I was just barely starting out, which is not the case now).

I'll try to post pics on Sunday.

At least we've eliminated one possibility.

I have heard of the problem of filter stacking, but know that many landscape shooters deliberately stack ND or grad ND filters. So is filter stacking a problem generally, or just with CPLs?

Cheers, Damien

The weather is beyond bad (grey, foggy, and wet) so I won't be able to post pictures today. Maybe next weekend.

But again, I'm really just trying to determine if anyone had experienced cases of a B+W Kaesemann CPL systemically causing soft pics at different angles so I just can go buy another one, if anyone can speak to that.

Cheers.

Also, has anyone had any experience with Zeiss CPLs?
