These are my first couple of shots with my RebelXT, C&C would be really helpful. It was raining today, and I didn't really have anything to shoot inside, so as I walked downstairs I looked outside and this caught my eye. Thanks! Enjoy :D:

second one is much better composition, but first one is out of focus and composition is bit off...

Second is a better composition.. but there is something about the first that really intrigues me.

my eye was drawn to the first one:) you can't tell its full of water until you see the second one, gave it a strange quality.

Yes, I converted to B&W first with a gradient map [with my foreground color set to black ofcourse], then tweaked it will channel mixer.
