So? Do something else!

But bear in mind that if you can't think of something else that would interest you, among the almost infinite possibilities present, then you're not very creative and photography is probably not for you.

LOL!! Come on, are you serious? It’s freezing outside and I’m bored.. Kinda explains my mood :-)

So? Go take macro shots of ice crystals. As for it being cold, suffer for your art!

If you really can't go outside, stay indoor and shoot still-lifes, do lighting studies, whatever. There is always something to shoot. At least there is for a real photographer.

Well I have two different trade offers I'm considering. One is for a mint 5D3 with 150 clicks and a 70-200 2.8 IS 1 for my D800 and 24-70. The other is a 5D3 with 16,000 clicks, a 24-70 2.8 and a Sigma 50mm 1.4. The second 5D3 has quite a bit of scratches on the bottom from a metal buckle rubbing on it. Not sure what to do.

Why do you wanna trade for a Canon so bad? what does a 5D3 have that D800 doesn’t?

I've been shooting at ISO 3200+ a lot more lately, and the Canon is better there. I'm starting to lean toward keeping mine and just buying the Sigma 35mm though.

Exactly, get a 35mm and you’ll let in 4 times as much light as 24-70 and you’ll be golden at the D800’s ISO settings. IMHO< D800 has a very impressive ISO performance considering its 36MP

I think you may be right. I really like the D800 and there really isn't much reason to switch. I get a bad case of G.A.S. sometimes. Nice watch shot.

Thanks :)

I was thinking of selling my 24-70G myself simply because I barely use it. I either go super wide (14-24mm) or tele (70-200VRII)
Wanted to add a sig 35mm 1.4 but here's the problem: when I travel with no intention of shooting anything like landscapes, I take the 24-70G. So it's a hard decision. Maybe I might go with 24-85mm + 35mm for the price of 24-70G

You need to stop reading my posts when I buy new gear. ;) I'm seriously a bad influence. ;)
