Not the proper way to squint

At least now real photographers can give home some dissing after all the years he bothered me:D

With the year coming to a close here is my top 10 DSLR/mirrorless/lenses for 2012.....

#10 - Pentax K5 II/IIs - Pentax is the brand that delivers the crop body sports camera Nikon and Canon users have been waiting for an update on.

#9 - Canon 40mm Pancake - Bring pancake lenses to DSLR bodies, hopefully a new trend.

#8 - Canon 600EX-RT - Built in radio receiver, the start of something special.

#7 - Sigma 35mm f/1.4 - A new trend in high quality Sigma lenses.

#6 - Leica M - Further modernization of a classic favorite. The mirrorless camera others try to live up to.

#5 - Canon 5D Mark III - The best of the 5D Mark II including price, combined with the performance similar to the 1Dx..

#4 - Fuji X-Pro1 - A mirrorless camera that gives a hybrid viewfinder, interchangeable lens and APS-C sensor with great style.

#3 - Olympus OM-D EM5 - First Sony MFT sensor, bringing IQ equivelant to bigger sensor bodies.

#2 - Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC - Everyone was waiting for a 24-70 with image stabilization and Tamron delivered it.

#1 - Nikon D800/D800E - Proof you can have a massive amount of pixels and still retain IQ and great high iso performance.

Very nice top 10 Dan. I would swap the places of the tamron with the sigma ;)

Give the 16-35L a warmup and post when you get a chance. ;)

Will do. It will get heavy use come the Italy trip :)

Recent Canon rumors for new lenses in 2013.

Canon 35 L 1.4 replacement and 14-24 L.

Only the 14-24 interest me. :)

Don't be afraid to use 6400. It cleans up nicely if you need to NR in post. :)

Not afraid just need to readjust my mental thinking in these situations

FYI just used the 85L in daylight at the botanical garden and it shines. Of course I stopped it down to 1.4 no need for soft 1.2 :p

Oh go take a hike you haters :p I don't always look like this when taking pics haha.
Besides that was last year. I tried to be as steady as possible (hence the squint) since that lens is a non IS.

 You saw my sample at ISO 10000. It cleans up nicely if well exposed. :)

I opened my presents, Got a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 (That was the B&H package) Apparently i would have gotten the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 if it was in stock! ah well...

Played with it and i think im going to keep it, the 11-16 adds to my system anyways and i was likely to get one eventually (Provided i didnt get a full frame camera..) Just jack **** to shoot right now...

beyond that, a copy of rust in peace on LP, Valkyria Chronicles (Because ive wanted it for years) Hellsing Ultimate on blu ray (1-8 at least)and a Lego TIE Defender...

iirc the Version I is like leftover, but its quite a bit cheaper to get, the Version II has better coatings but im just not convinced its worth it

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I've been editing video while waiting to check my sugar again... I forgot to punch in supper, and it was 500-something. How stupid can I be?! let's see what it is now.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."
