Ah whatever.
Each to their own style, to each their own ideas.
Chet, your website gave me an idea for a business name:
3 Bowls of Beans Media: We'll blow you away.

Check out Jordan Voth, Connor Surdi, a ton of my favorite portrait photographers are from Seattle, ironically. There's one I can't remember who's name is though and he's my personal favorite. My favorite photographers are editorial/commercial/high end fashion photographers. CHeck out Daniel Usenko, He’s from Seattle as well. Dang good. Uses nothing but light-pump primes. D. Vance wrote in post #15504090 Each to their own.. ![]() I sure wouldn't pay for it, but apparently some like it! ![]() I would definitely hire this dude for my wedding! But he’s not local. Jordan Voth’s actually pretty good. Man, there’s a lot of great tog’s out there... a lot. All have their own style. Ilya | Gear |•• flickr

It's funny how someone may love on form of photography but hate another one.

Lightroom 4, for that photo, but I usually add some color masks in Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. I've been playing around a lot with colors and exposure DTBaan wrote in post #15503696 there are so many blackouts in hawaii ![]() did you get any shots though? :P most of my sunset and sunrise are 30 secs and under so a remote is not required, also im not pro enough to time my shots in bulb mode ;p. the only time i needed to use longer than 30 secs was with the use of filters in the day time. Seriously...haha, and I got a few but I kind of lost patience. The power also came back after 10 minutes NatalieFong.com

But I think Jordan Voth might be a master of Natural light, somehow he'll shoot with the sun behind the subject and get the subject perfectly exposed with the BG not being totally overblown plus I love his edit style. Looked him up, looove his stuff, his models are gorgeous too. Natural light has always been my favorite, although studio fashion is great too. I just think that natural sunlight is the best source of lighting NatalieFong.com
