TO each their own ;)

Ah whatever.
Each to their own style, to each their own ideas. ;)

Chet, your website gave me an idea for a business name:
3 Bowls of Beans Media: We'll blow you away.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

I taught him everything he knows. (About shoe lace tying on the fly in the winter whilst bike riding).

Morning Darin, that doesn't sound like a good combo..

:lol::lol:

Eh, they're good but not amazing IMO. Check out Jordan Voth, Connor Surdi, a ton of my favorite portrait photographers are from Seattle, ironically. There's one I can't remember who's name is though and he's my personal favorite.

My favorite photographers are editorial/commercial/high end fashion photographers.

CHeck out Daniel Usenko, He’s from Seattle as well. Dang good. Uses nothing but light-pump primes.

I sure wouldn't pay for it, but apparently some like it! ;)

I would definitely hire this dude for my wedding! But he’s not local. If I were to get married (IFFFF) I’d hire this dude --> http://aleksandrverbetsky.com/blog/ (external link) We are EXACTLY the same age, born on the same day!! I shot a wedding with him once. He went to college and now owns his own studio. Does photography for a living.

You know he's good when you see that Jordan Voth comment on his work

But yeah that guy has some great stuff, I love natural light photographers but it would only benefit them if they took up studio work as well.

Jordan Voth’s actually pretty good. Man, there’s a lot of great tog’s out there... a lot. All have their own style.

Yup, its all really subjective though, while you might love natural light you might also hate studio fashion. It's funny how someone may love on form of photography but hate another one.

I always like looking at the really artsy studio portraits.

But I think Jordan Voth might be a master of Natural light, somehow he'll shoot with the sun behind the subject and get the subject perfectly exposed with the BG not being totally overblown plus I love his edit style.

Good morning!

Ya know what isn't good for your stomach? Eating a Twinkie knock-off with strawberry jelly inside, orange juice, milk, and brownies, and then going to bed.

It tasted good at the time, and my sugar was low...

You are what you eat. So don't be surprised that when you eat crap you'll feel like crap.

Oh Natalie what're you using to process pictures?

Lightroom 4, for that photo, but I usually add some color masks in Adobe Photoshop Elements 6. I've been playing around a lot with colors and exposure :D

there are so many blackouts in hawaii :|

did you get any shots though? :P

most of my sunset and sunrise are 30 secs and under so a remote is not required, also im not pro enough to time my shots in bulb mode ;p. the only time i needed to use longer than 30 secs was with the use of filters in the day time.

Seriously...haha, and I got a few but I kind of lost patience. The power also came back after 10 minutes

Looked him up, looove his stuff, his models are gorgeous too. Natural light has always been my favorite, although studio fashion is great too. I just think that natural sunlight is the best source of lighting :p

oh cool you were able to get lightroom :)

how do you lose patience when shooting landscape? :| enjoy the scenery while the camera is doing its thing ;p best to set it to slow shutter instead of bulb. sucks to hold the button down and you cant do bulb with out a remote otherwise there will be camera shake.
