As anyone who has ever played an MMO already knows, there are no women online, only men pretending to be women (or elf-girls)

New info pertinent to the Te'o story:

According to Deadspin, the woman in the photo was a high school classmate of Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the man who appears to have perpetrated the hoax from the beginning.

His girlfriend of 3-years ended up being a dude.

If any of ya'll want Django Unchained action figures while they're still "cheap" (they were just discontinued), now is your last chance:

Messing with the Corpo della Gendarmeria (Vatican City Police) is not very wise. Vatican City is a sovereign nation, with it's own laws independent of its Italian surround, and it is NOT a democracy. It is an absolute elective monarchy—the last absolute monarchy in Europe—whose wheels grind exceedingly slowly. People who have been arrested in the Vatican have found themselves held, without bail, for weeks before the powers that be will even take notice of them. Fines and penalties are often quite large and severe, even for so-called "trivial" offenses.

I spent 40 minutes last night in St. Peter's square trying to take a shot I wanted of the fountain. As soon as I stood next to it the Vatican police drove up and parked at my 5pm. Just stared the whole time. As soon as I out the camera on the floor one of them got out of the car. I picked it up and just as quickly he got back into the car. At that point I walked over to the front of St. Peter's basillica and started taking pictures of it. The same Vatican guards drove over there and parked looking at me. I even took a ago of it this time. At that point I walked over to the fountain. Tool more pictures and they finally drove away as to say okay you can take your shot. So I took the tripod out and took a couple then Mayra and I got out of there before we needed up on an episode of locked up abroad.

That exact fountain Tony. They kept stalking me  Even had two guards on foot start to approach me until I got up and moved around a bit then they turned around. Mayra was walking around as well being my scout  in the end after 40 minutes in the winter cold night they figured I just wanted a long exposure shot. I got it with the Christmas tree as it dominates the center of the square until the end of January.

Got some very good shots in the Sistine Chapel. Photos of any kind are prohibited. They have guards now walking around looking for any sort of photo taking. So before walking in I had already put the wireless trigger on my camera. Walked around with the camera on my hip and triggered from my pocket in silent mode with preview turned off. Surprised at the quality I got. Practiced some hip shooting in the previous rooms before going in. ISO 6400 on the 5dmkiii is just great. :)

My Vatican shots were all hand held and with F4 24-105 mm lens, simply pushed iso and steady hands, I wanted some water movement in the last shot so that was at F20 iso 100 1/40

Did they ever figure out who did all that? I know a couple years ago they thought they were on track to figuring it out.

Yeah I wanted the nigh shots which metered in at 8 second shots. Did a couple on the floor using just the tripod head which came out okay but I wanted the higher angle that only the legs could give me. I am thankful the guards let me take it :)

^^^Omar i was continously shooting video and then snapping still, I had plenty of shots inside the chapel. I had the camera looped on my neck and pointed upwards near my waist, tummy.

Is that Antonio Allegri da Correggio's work? I'm a fan.

Yeah I tried to take as many without the guards coming my way. Tony it seems like the back area didn't have what seemed like a mesh wall when you went. I have a picture of it that I got when I took one if Mayra in there.
