^^ according to wikipidea, he was a geologist and used a geologist's hammer. Now I remember in Jan 1977 they had the replica on display, so I shot the replica and missed the chance to shoot the originalmand when the original was retored they had the acrylic bullet proofing, and took better image in the 80s with film camera, nextime I will use a CPL.

Cheers,

And we all know how accurate Wikipedia is, don't we.

According to the official report of the Gendarmeria, it was a ball-peen hammer he bought in Rome at an auto-parts store. Most of the damage was done with the peen end.

The whole thing was just so sad. Damage to great works of art is injury to everyone, regardless of beliefs and nationality.

Contacted by someone a few minutes ago who is planning to come to Hawaii to propose to his girlfriend at the top of a hike. He wants me to be there to discreetly take photographs until he pops the question, then do more photos afterwards.

I'm a little puzzled as to how much I should charge because this would mean that I would have to hike up there beforehand and wait :P (I usually charge about $80 for couples for per shoot) He also wasn't very clear if he wanted to do a full shoot at the top of the hike, and if he did, I'm worried that there will be too many people and about their hiking attire...

So charge $200

$80 for shoot
$120 for disguises and trying to be discrete

Your photos are good so you can up your costs.

I've gotten closer than I should have to wild animals in the past to get a shot but there are certain animals I think I would stay away from.

Yeah, I manage a couple of data centers for a local college. The last vmworld I went to was in Vegas in 2011.

Although I will attempt it, I'm not much into landscape photography. Any good wildlife areas?
