The USA-nifty list is growing very short. Time for some 2AMers to step up and add their names to the list:

What is that?

After just stating I didn't want to invest much into Nikon again I went ahead and became a full fledged fanboy again. Got a D800E + 24-70 coming and changed my Sigma 120-300 preorder over to Nikon.

No, it's already gone. I found a buyer who wants all my Canon gear so I said what the hell. The only thing he hasn't bought from me so far is my Sigma 35.

Probably. At least my D800 kit will be slightly different than before. I considered a D4 but I want the pixel density and cheaper price tag.

Well I mean I've only switched cameras 3 times, went from a T3i -> 5D2 as an upgrade, but then a 1D3, D700, then back to 5D2 again, you all are just switching back and forth now :lol:

I'd love to get a few more things right now but the money isn't there :( I wish I'd be hired for a few gigs.

Some people seem to change gear just for the sake of changing gear. They'll say they don't, but then, they're all rafting in Egypt.

That was always part of my reason but I also wanted to see if one camera was better suited for me then another one. I personally thing the 5D2 is the best camera for me, I'd like a 5D3 but at this point it's not worth it.

Can someone tell me why you would need a large apperature lens for landscape?

aperture. learn how to spell

That is true, whatever, if you want to switch I'm all for it. I always like getting different things, I will probably wind up switching over to Leica at the end of the year even though I hate RF cameras but I'll get used to it.
