If you want it no one is stopping you, but if you are hesitant to spend the money you need to see if it's really worth it. That also means will you miss out on the 71-199mm that you wont get?

Maybe at a later date you can fill the 71mm-199mm hole with a new 135/1.8 when Nikon releases it.
