Guys are tough on their reviews. He has 44 positive ratings. Looked through the images of them. Only the top LCD has a small snub on it. Everything else looks good besides some minor small blemishes. That is why i guess he gave it an 8:

The problem is a lot of the used ones are from the early batches, and those were the ones with more issues. And then the warranty is shorter, etc.
