Canon offered that as an aftermarket service. I think it was $100 to have it converted.

Ah, I wasn't sure if it was because it was newer or older. But now that its cause of that never mind

haha too bad man... yeah relax and stay at the pool today.

its gonna be PI, HK and Macau and I think I will have internet connection the whole time hehe I was thinking of going to El Nido but the cost would be roughly the same as going to HK-Macau so I decided to go there instead. J-land got rocked hard yesterday  but its fine, kinda cold already but I like it a lot better than our hot humid weather in PI.

The one thing I miss doing besides go to the beach though is shooting landscapes on weekends, there are nice landscapes here but they are a bit far out and travelling between them is a bit too expensive for me to do alone. I haven't adjusted to urban shooting yet so I kinda not been producing any good photos at the moment hehe

Definitely hot and humid still. Not as bad in December as in June (from my last visit). :o

Heh. Yeah, I can see the appeal of going out during the weekend and shoot different beach landscapes every weekend. Very relaxing after stressful work week.

nice, your timing is nice, just right after the typhoon and not much people yet since its not Christmas break yet :D

It kind of worked out. Already at the gate with bags checked in on Tuesday when the flight got cancelled due to poor visibility at Tagbilaran. Rescheduled flight two days after and had to scramble to rebook hotels since they apparently have a no refund policy.

QUOTED IMAGE

Looks good, but the sensor needs cleaned!

Grrr.... I hate the T1i. Otherwise, I love Rebels. Except for the feeling that I have a Matchbox camera in my hands! They're so tiny!

Dang guy... You must live on the streets. My interior shots constantly need ISO 1600-4000 at 2.8 with VR!

Nope, you just live in a dungeon! :p seriously, I'd never go anywhere near that high. Just use a flash. ;)

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

Most of the new cameras bring that standard now. The 5dmkIII has it :)

And with that said off to bed. Long day!

Why not? Get a 5dmkIII/6D and shoot all the way up to ISO 12,800 without issue ;) I never went over 1600 with the 7D :)
