Looks good, but the sensor needs cleaned!

Grrr.... I hate the T1i. Otherwise, I love Rebels. Except for the feeling that I have a Matchbox camera in my hands! They're so tiny!

Nope, you just live in a dungeon! :p seriously, I'd never go anywhere near that high. Just use a flash. ;)

i had the sensors cleaned this morning at a nice camera shop here, also changed my view finder.

Cheers,

You're lucky to have a camera shop near you! I have to clean my own. Not hard at all, but it makes me nervous!

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

I rarely ever shoot >ISO1600... and if I do, chances are I could care less about banding  I don't shoot landscapes :p

If you shot landscapes, you could afford to shoot at ISO100 for each and every shot, so not sure why you even added that in. Essentially no banding on the 5d2 at iso100--am I missing something?

No immediate solutions. Google trackers can keep a site cached for many months after a site goes down. They will not remove a site listing from their trackers even if you request it.

If you want your website down, contact the hosting provider (godaddy, etc) to have it terminated.

I said that in case you would need to pull the exposure up. Ie. shadow areas, or the like. Not every single landscape shot can be shot at ISO100 either.

If you have a tripod, EVERY sInGlE landscape should be shot at ISO100

Not necessarily. So you're saying that EVERY SINGLE shot ever shot on a tripod of a landscape is at ISO100? Interesting...

No. Usually DR is best achieved at ISO100, which is exactly why most people shoot at 100.

So you have a 5D2 & 50 mil for lenses? that’s it? You should pick up a 135L for streets...

Well I'm not arguing with that, but I'm just saying there will be occasions where you wont be shooting at ISO 100, but for me I usually am never above ISO1600 so banding is never really an issue with me.

For now it's the 50, I'm going to be adding the 85L when I finish selling off my lighting kit and then a Sigma 35.

+1. Rare exceptions might be where you've got limited time to get a shot with minimal lighting or no stabilization, or you've got movement in the background (moving clouds or running water) and--for whatever reason--decide against motion blur.

That said, I will boost to 1600 if I have to, trying to get the Milky Way. Works pretty nicely to see the structure in one picture! I need to learn how to stack, though.
