Mind you that LR4 and DPP do not support 6D RAW file yet. Can't wait to push shadows.

Can't wait to push shadows. With regard to the four identical images with ISO at 3200, 6400, 12,800, and 25,600, I found the 3200 to be terrific. At 6400 it was getting pretty noisy, but if not looking at it at 100% it was still pretty good. At 12800 lots of noise was evident and obvious, and 25,600 wasn't so hot but might be usable depending on the subject and the context. When viewing them at 25% size, or about 14"x 9" on my monitor they all looked pretty good although the higher ISO versions seemed a bit grainier and the images seemed less bright as the ISO increased. If you have a recentish Canon EOS DSLR, plug it into a USB port and download the software from the 6D support section of the Canon website. It needs a Canon DSLR plugged in before it installs though. Note, the images have noise reduction applied which isn't ideal. ISO 3200 looks great though and ISO 6400 pretty good too. Colour looks decent in all images. How can you have "noise reduction applied" in a RAW file? Canon EOS 7D | EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM | EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS |

I want to see if this is true. There were a few tests that showed a very marginal improvement and i do mean marginal. All the MkII, MkIII issues like banding are still present. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I want to see if this is true. I might have to buy a new camera soon. The 5D3 is of no interest to me, so if the 6D has improved DR, I might go for it. why not ask someone in the 6D thread, they could easily upload a RAW file to a hosting site like http://www.zippyshare.com
