I've been toying with the idea of picking up a little Fujifilm X100 for when I want to travel light, and when shooting weddings it would take up very little space so would be easy to drop in the bag.

Does anyone keep one in their kit bag when they shoot weddings? And if so how does it fare? I like the fact that it's quiet and discreet, far less 'in your face' than a 5d and the f/2 35mm sounds like it would be pretty usefull.

I have one but have never taken it to a wedding. As an emergency camera, sure, would suffice & it is quite a capable gadget. But If I've got the option to use a 5D MkIII, I'll never go for the X100.

It's way way slower both in focus and writing to card, limited with flash output, very small buttons and way too many and they're too easy to press accidentally, all negatives within the wedding environment. For street photography, travelling or getting a little arty - that's where this camera belongs.
