Thank you for your kind remarks. It is Laycock in Wiltshire, England. Laycock Abbey is more famous than the village. It was founded in the 13th century. The Fox Talbot family lived there in the 18/19th centuries and Henry Fox Talbot (1800-1877 was a British scientist, inventor and photography pioneer. Today you can visit the Fox Talbot museum and see some of his early equipment and photographs. Clare (Bambers Images) can tell you more, she lives not far away.
