Thinking of getting the 70-200 mm F4 L lens for my EOS 350D. My Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Zoom Macro Super II dont give me the qulity I want! The pictures are getting so noisy, and unsharp, grainy, hard to explain, for using high ISO 400. So, anyone who have, and want to share some pictures taken with the 70-200 F4 L lens? Will I get better result with the Llens, then with the Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Zoom Macro Super II. A very cheap lens.

So please, sample pictures. I have been looking at pbase, but those are so hard jpeg compressed.

Thank you guys!

/ Johan

Btw, we have the same camera body too, the 350D, just in case you were curious. :)

You can't go wrong with this lens.

One of my best:

the last 2 yes with the pop up flash...would be better with another flash unit or even better the macro twin lite :) also handheld. But i'm learning to use a tripod more and more :)

May I also ask... Will I get less "grainy" images with this lens? or is that the cameras fault? :)

Hmm wonder why they don't show up so sharp with photobucket. The original looks great.

This review site has sample pictures with both lenses. The reviews are helpful. I just ordered the F 2.8 because it comes with a tripod mount, hood and lens case. It would be $200 more if you buy these for the F 4. For a net $350 difference, gaining one stop and 77mm size seemed like a good idea. http://www.photozone.de/8Reviews/index.html (external link)

The f4 also comes with the case and hood. It is so light you do not need a tripod mount.
