You have some nice shots. Good color and contrast. Some tigher crops would really help out, particularly #2 and #3. The second one could be a vertical crop.

Thanks guys.

Hmm. Tighter crops? I get confused with PP on swimming, because there's no ball to anchor the crop :) I was thinking to give them a bit of room so they have somewhere to go.

Superb ,great shots sharpness and colour with these and your previous shots .

I have only shot inside swimming pools in the UK , I would love to shoot an outside meet .

great timing on last one!

the crops you posted work if you want a bit more context, but i agree tighter crop could help for #2, 3--especially for younger kids since there isnt as much splash/implied speed. the intensity of the effort is in their faces.

Good note on the crops vs. speed.

Thanks. Yeah, indoors is tough. I haven't shot a meet indoors with the 1D3 yet, so I'm hopeful it will be easier, but the light won't be any better.

I like what you have here and disagree with cropping further. I like the context of them.

Crops are fine. Your athletes have somewhere to go.

Good lane ropes too. You usually must have something else in the shot (like you do) for swimming or else there's nothing to relate to, and it's just a "guy-in-the-water-shot".

For a little more, have it printed on aluminum. I have 2 on order now. The highlights will look like the picture is wet!
