uninstalling Adobe on the lap top

i have the program on both my desktop and on the laptop.. I need to make more room on this one... do i have to 'deactivate' the program before uninstalling on the laptop? It wont effect the desktop at all will it?

Yes deactivate and then uninstall. Usually you can have adobe on 2 computers, if you don't uninstall first, if you decide to install on a new laptop it won't let you.
It should not affect the Desktop.
