Is it possible to use a FD mount lense on EF? I know i need some kind of converter and that the AF wont work, but what about exposure and aperture?
Is it worthwhile?

This thread on EF-FD convertors is linked from the sticky EF lens FAQ. Pays to have a poke around there before asking questions :)

Hi Hemumi,

take a look at the threads linked by tim, they'll answer all your questions.

Bottom line ... it will most likely not be worth it.
Unlike other manual focus lenses (e.g. M42, P6, Olympus, Noink), that can be used with simple converter without optical elements (20-30$), the FD mount will require a converter with an optical element to get infinity focus. And this converter will either be very expensive (the original Canon one) or degrade image quality.

Best regards,
Andy

And the 'proper' Canon FD to EOS adapter will only work on the longer lenses I believe, and acts as a 1.2x extender into the bargain, so no FD wideangles.
