Wow! You mean you didn't use a ND filter for this? hmmm....6D is looking better all the time.

Sorry to mislead you there. I did have an ND400 on the lens. But shooting mid-morning, the ISO 50 really helped cut the light down. This is something I couldn't do with my T2i.

On the 6D focusing, I just did a shoot last Sunday and I ended up with 79% usable in sharp focus. Best Numbers I've ever done. Not to shabby.

Lots of great stuff on this page!

Dubadai, welcome. I'm a sucker for nice photos of pretty ladies, so I really like your top pic! :)

Yeah, she's a doll. Nice shot, Dubadai.

My family and I attended a hot air balloon festival yesterday. I reckon focusing on hot air balloons isn't much of a challenge but shooting photos of Breitling aerobatic jets, speeding race cars during a car drifting exhibition and jet-propelled planes at a remote controlled plane show should be. I'm really amazed on how the 6D handled it. Majority of these photos were keepers

I finally got to put my 6D to use today at a pool tournament here in town. I'm amazed at the difference between the 60D I upgraded from to the 6D! This photo is unedited, but resized and added my watermark. Shot at iso 3200...I'm impressed!

Hi Friends,

Finally bought my first ever full frame camera 6D & new lens Tamron 24-70 F2.8 VC...cant wait to start taking new pics with this new combination...

I would like to ask if there any Free Video Software Programs out in the internet that you would recommend if I need to do some basic & simple video editing for Canon 6D so I can upload to Facebook / Youtube / Other social media websites.

Cheers!

Really wish I had a flash or two when I took this photo of my friend at sunrise as she came out a little underexposed (as the screen of my laptop shows), but I like it just the same.

If all you need to do cut together sequences straight out of the camera windows movie maker or imovie(depending on which system you are running) will do that just fine just try to stay away from the cheesy filters and effects that come bundled with the programs. If you want to get into anything more serious then you will probably have to spend a little bit of $ and go for final cut express or premiere elements, which can both be found for under $100 if you shop around a little bit.

Cant wait to see what the photos from this combo look like. Especially at at F2.8 and at lower shutter speeds (I hear the image stabilisation on this lens is awesome. ;-)a
I am very keen on this lens, although at this stage it does look like I might be getting the 6D with 24-105 lens.

Love the 6D, still have got to learn a lot.
Auto focus setting is the most difficult I find
