I decided to try my cheap Sigma 18-50DC on my 6D before I returned it, the results didn't seem any worse (And much wider) then on my T2i after I cropped out the vignetting. I zoomed the lens fully and focused to both stops before putting it on and the rear element ever protrudes past the mount... so I'm assuming this lens is safe to use on the 6D? I don't think I'll ever feel the need to since I'm getting the 24-105L now, but I'm curious :P

New firmware for the 6D coming this May/June

"The biggest addition to the camera will be f/8 autofocus at the center point. The AI servo indicator may also be added."

Lack of a gazillion focus points be damned!

Judging from the images here, the 6D is one helluva camera.

-you guys are gonna go make my buy one-

Could someone shook some moving objects/people using AI servo and center point focus so we can see the results?
I do shoot sports and really only use the center point so I'm curious to see if thiscamera can do well with those settings.
Or if there is a link to already posted samples I would appreciate the heads up.
Great shots here!

Lol, it's actually a black smudge of some sort, no idea how it got there...

Thanks you! He's ridiculous, once I start shooting he has to be in front of the camera, I swear he'll hear me from 2 floors up and come running to get in the shot...

Took some time to adjust to shooting with full frame, but significant advantages during post. Taken with flash and ISO 1000 to make sure that shutter speed stays fast enough to stop. No problems with focusing and capturing at the right point.

Nice one Dividor! I keep looking for the little twin girls, or the kid on the tricycle to pop out at me!
(Hopefully someone gets that reference so I don't look too foolish)

You weren't the only one that thought that, LOL.

Loving this camera. Amazon dropped the price again so I sent the body back and got the body with the 24-105. $400 for the 24-105 essentially. Couldn't resist. the noise handling at high ISO is really a treat. Makes the 24-105 an even better jack-of-all-trades.

NICE COLOUR!~
may i ask how about do you achieve that? via PP ?

I love how people ask Alex for his PP trade secrets. I'm sure it took him some time and effort to hone his style. The colors are marvelous.
