Haha, she must be the opposite of your cat Chipper then. You told us he loves to pose in front of the camera and is like "come on Lucas shove that camera in my face" while your girlfriend hates it.

Lol, yes, you're exactly right! I've never seen a cat so keen on being in front of the camera, the problem is he never sits still! We think he's about 6 months old, we can't be sure because we found him (or rather, he found us) at our old house hiding under our deck shivering and tiny, he couldn't have been more than a couple months old when we found him so now he's still a hyper little kitten
Here's another shot of them both taken with the nifty-fifty

No problem! Let me know how that works out, I'm definitely planning on picking up more of these manual lenses, I have more fun shooting with my free little Yashica than just about any other lens
And you should definitely pick it up! Though at that price used I'd say you'd be better off just picking it up new from B&H or Amazon, I got mine for $2300 as a kit from Best Buy price matched with Amazon since I have their 18month 0 interest financing card
I bought mine as body only initially but went back and ordered it as a kit with the intention of selling the 24-105L, but after using it for a weekend at the aquarium I've decided it's too good a lens to give up just yet.
