Thanks! She's definitely my better half... I like that shot a lot because it's one of the rare one's where she's smiling! She's usually really annoyed at me snapping her

Here's another, also from the Yashica

Haha, she must be the opposite of your cat Chipper then. You told us he loves to pose in front of the camera and is like "come on Lucas shove that camera in my face" while your girlfriend hates it. :D

Thank you! I'm using a plane jane Fotodiox adapter, no chip (yet). I ordered a chip for it on Amazon but it's not supposed to get here until the 24th of April  Right after I bought the chip I found this adapter also on Amazon http://www.amazon.com …1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846 (external link)

I might order it this weekend since the shipping on it is MUCH faster and I can use the other chip I ordered for my 8mm Bower.

[...]

Thanks for the reply! I bought mine from ebay. I wasn't sure it would work so I bought an inexpensive metal adapter from there. http://www.ebay.com …Tubes&hash=item589b8e4096 (external link)

Since I don't have the funds to pick this up yet, I thought I'd share http://www.adorama.com …er&utm_source=rflaid62259 (external link)

Lol, yes, you're exactly right! I've never seen a cat so keen on being in front of the camera, the problem is he never sits still! We think he's about 6 months old, we can't be sure because we found him (or rather, he found us) at our old house hiding under our deck shivering and tiny, he couldn't have been more than a couple months old when we found him so now he's still a hyper little kitten ;)

Here's another shot of them both taken with the nifty-fifty

No problem! Let me know how that works out, I'm definitely planning on picking up more of these manual lenses, I have more fun shooting with my free little Yashica than just about any other lens  And you should definitely pick it up! Though at that price used I'd say you'd be better off just picking it up new from B&H or Amazon, I got mine for $2300 as a kit from Best Buy price matched with Amazon since I have their 18month 0 interest financing card ;) I bought mine as body only initially but went back and ordered it as a kit with the intention of selling the 24-105L, but after using it for a weekend at the aquarium I've decided it's too good a lens to give up just yet.

You know why he loves to sit in front of the camera, right? He sees his reflection in the lens and thinks: "Oh what a sexy animal I am".
About him not sitting still... Never too late for a 5D3? :p
Cuteness overload in that picture, especially from your girlfriend. ;) Is that catfood on her nose? Damn those whiskers must tickle like hell.

Haha, the 6D's AF works just fine for me ;) Focus isn't usually the issue, it's getting him in frame that's the issue sometimes! And she has a cat treat on her nose in that one, she gets jealous because for whatever reason he always comes and sits on my lap, she was coaxing him to lay on her instead... lol.

That's an easy one. He loves the camera and it happens to be your camera. :p

Put the 50mm on my 6D today for the first time (been mostly using the 85mm and some 24-105mm on it), and oh what a pleasant focal length to work with. MAY have to do some micro adjustment on it, not sure yet, but the view with it is really nice. May have to look into getting some of them 40-60mm range old primes to play around with :)
