IIRC, I think someone might have posted one or two shots in the People section in the Natural Light Photography thread. I don't have time to look right now though.

Would anyone know how much it would cost to customize the rear of the EOS 6D? For example making a dial and joystick like on the 5D2 & 5D3?

Thanks!

Ummm, I'm not sure how possible that is. Have you given it a try? It is pretty natural to use once you get used to it.

hows the dynamic range on this thing? Since DR was all the rage on the d600, is the 6d comparable?

@Feudal1 ... Sick!

The colors, sharpness, and bokeh look amazing on these shots. Of course being shot with the 6D and this lens, I might be biased, but I think they look even better! Nice work.

I was just looking at that Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens thread yesterday. I have a feeling I know what my next lens is going to be :mrgreen:

Thanks for pointing that out. I usually include the EXIF data, but I recently reinstalled Windows (and CS6) and must not have updated the Export settings to include all EXIF data.

These were shot at ISO 800 and f/1.4. When I get home this evening, I can post updates with the EXIF data attached if folks are interested.

So far, I'm finding the Sigma 35mm very impressive. In addition to great image quality, the focus is quick and spot-on. No front or back focus issues like I've seen with the Sigma 50mm. And shooting in the dark, there was no focus hunting, even using the outer AF points of the 6D. The build quality is fantastic - reminds me a bit of Zeiss lenses. The Sigma 35mm is in a completely separate world compared to the Sigma 50mm. Be aware though - because of that build quality (and metal inside the lens), the lens is a little heavier than the Canon 35mm f/1.4. However, the lens balances nicely on the 6D, and feels solid in hand.

The minimum focus distance is a bit over 11 inches. I was pretty close to that when taking these shots.
