I went back to the Everglades tonight while on a conference call :) Was hoping to get the setting sun shot that I missed yesterday, but it was too cloudy. Here are the 2 best shots from tonight:

Again, JPEGs straight from SD card to Flickr :) All NR in-camera is off.

1. ISO 8000

2. ISO 6400

Very nice!!

Has anyone tested AI servo performance with the outer points yet? I can't seem to find anything on google.

Thanks guys, I was definitely happier with these than the ones from yesterday in the same location. Maybe third time will be a charm?

Ok I can't help myself. All I want to do is go shoot photos with my new 6D!

Went back out to Downtown Miami with my 6D, TS-E 17 f/4L, and tripod, for some night city and downtown type shots. Did some long exposures, some high ISO, and was playing around with the tilt-shift as I learn how to get the most out of this incredible lens.

All shots were manual focus, manual settings, using live view - didn't bust out the iPad for remote shooting this time around, although I did earlier this evening when I went to the Everglades.

Here's the set from tonight:

1 - Playing with the focus using tilt and aperture of f/4

2 - This sign caught my attention, as did that building behind it.

3 - Long exposure this interesting building

4 - I know it needs a clean ... it was an Impromptu shoot of the car, so it's allowed.

5 - ISO 12800 (yes I know it's crooked, but I'm doing SOOC shots right now)
Check out the snowflake pattern on the right side of the building, these are lights that were moving kind of like a projector image. A perfect example where high ISO was required so as not to blur the pattern with a too-slow shutter speed. I'd say that, pending some leveling in PP, this is a definite keeper at ISO 12800 and even is printable 13x19 or larger!

Just read on DPReview that there is now a Lightroom and Camera RAW update available which includes 6D RAW support.

after seeing all the posts, there's no question 6d is a great camera.

I need some help here. I shoot engagements, weddings, and foods. with my current gear, there has never been a problem
But I am thinking to raise my target market on weddings, so I will sell the 60d and tamron, and aim for 6d + canon 24-105L is + sigma 35mm f1.4.

from my situation, i need to know some things first. How does the af-servo accuracy with moving subject?
and the accuracy of non-center-AF-points in low light? (my concern is when shooting close up using f1.4 or so at low light weddings, where focus-recompose might lead to missfocus photo)

I can't comment on AF performance of the 6D yet as mine is coming in the mail today (SO EXCITED!).
Just thought I'd offer my 2 cents on gear you'd need for a wedding or engagement shoot, skip the 24-105. Get a Sigma 35 f1.4 and a Canon 135L, I know a ton of wedding photographers who only use a 35 and a 135 (the 135L is an amazing lens on FF btw), or 70-200 - 105 probably won't have enough reach for what you're looking to do.

My 6D arrives today as well and I'm looking forward to having my first full frame camera. Through CPS I tried out the 5DIII (which I loved...) but to purchase one I would have had to sell both my gripped 7D, 10-22mm and 1DIII. With the 6D I'm able to keep the 1DIII after selling the 7D and 10-22mm and adding a few dollars. The ~$1000 delta in price between the 6D and 5DIII just wasn't worth it for my needs.
