Hi!
Anyone tried to shoot sports with the 6D (indoor like basketball)?
I'm looking for feedbacks about this camera with action/sport shots.

Nice shots but easier to track than basketball court for sure.

I am happy that I can now contribute to this thread, having very recently upgraded from a 60D to a 6D. Here are a couple shots. In the first one, I exposed for the sky and then cranked up the shadows in Lightroom. Pixel peeping the jacked shadows reveals that it's not at all offensive and is way better than what my 60D could have produced. Needless to say, I am VERY happy with my upgrade!

Thanks Bobby. Honestly, I wouldn't know. Sports photography is not my thing. A friend owns a Supercross team so I have visited his races and shot some pics from the stands. I was just trying to demonstrate to Hyram that the 6D is capable camera for fast sports in crappy light. Perhaps not ideal, but capable.

But I think basketball is more tricky to shoot.

I used to shoot basketball with my XTi (+ 30D) and even though it's difficult to track players with the XTi, it wasn't impossible. I am led to believe the 6D will naturally be better.

That said, a 70D would be the ideal choice for shooting sports now.
