Vraiment superbe, Jérémie!

Taken 20 minutes after unboxing my 6D.

After owning a 50D for over 5 years I'm blown away by the superior IQ and ISO handling. I haven't even tried the video or WiFi features yet.

Christmas has come early for me.

I am having issues with the joypad/dpad. Coming from a 5d, the joystick was able to select a point with one click... the joypad takes a few movements similar to a rebel dpad... am I missing something or configured wrong?

Seems clunky as hell.

I can't remember what I had to do but I was able to set my dpad up to select a point by just hitting the direction that I want to move the point and hitting the focus button.

CF3.... I tried that already.

on the 60D, each multicontroller direction is designated to one point, and set to center.....

now it's all screwed up with the 6D. First selection only lights up the point I'm at, then navigate to the point..... that's like 3 clicks opposed to 1.......

give me the 9 point AF, this 11 point sucks.

After reading this, I have just figured out how to turn it on! now to explain how i did it, although there might be an easier way, on the rear screen, 'Q' menu, then choose the icon, 3rd line down, far right hand side, 'custom controls' then choose the multi controller icon and you have the choice there, It works now as it was in the 'off' position.

yes, I understand this, and already use it. The issue I have is that with the 5D's joystick, each direction is mapped to one focus point.

For instance, I press top-right, and it goes to the upper right focus point. I can push inwards, and it goes to center point, ect. You dont use the joystick to navigate focus points, you go directly to the assigned point. That's how I want this joypad to work, and from what I recall, the 60D's is set up the same way.

This particular implementation requires that I fumble around to find the correct point, which is clumsy.
