yes, I understand this, and already use it. The issue I have is that with the 5D's joystick, each direction is mapped to one focus point.

For instance, I press top-right, and it goes to the upper right focus point. I can push inwards, and it goes to center point, ect. You dont use the joystick to navigate focus points, you go directly to the assigned point. That's how I want this joypad to work, and from what I recall, the 60D's is set up the same way.

This particular implementation requires that I fumble around to find the correct point, which is clumsy.

I agree with the clumsy feel to the AF point selector. The directional pad on the 60D was much better!

Thanks! I had put my bag away and was walking around with nothing but the 6D and a Yashica ML 50/1.4... I feel like I get my best shots when I force myself to use less gear :cool:
