There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with those shots on my screen. I'm not viewing on an iPad mind you, rather a calibrated screen.

They look fine to me too... I'm just viewing on a 13" macbook, but they look good to me ;)

Hmm, not sure. They were shot in aRGB and converted to sRGB during JPEG conversion, which was done on a 13 MBP with standard Mac gamut set. Edit for publish with LR4, brightness adjustments to taste @ medium screen brightness. I posted and checked for function / display from an iPad Mini.

Might be a technical thing, but it doesn't sound like you're using Windows gamut - which 'makes' things look darker that are Mac calibrated. Maybe it's just a difference in tastes? My examples do not look as bright to me as the one immediately after.

i dont like editting software
i only use the program that comes with the camera
Its very simple

You really should try Lightroom, I've never used the Canon software, but Lightroom is extremely simple/straightforward, nearly as much as iPhoto (the software I used to use).

My iPad 3 retina display is quite accurate.

A little trick. 30 second exposure. During the last 5 seconds of so I manually took it out of focus slowly and fully. ;)

Great trick...dully noted....thanks :D

9 hours in the computer to put this together with PS CC.

Panoramic stitch with focus stacking and perspective control of many images. This shot is so insanely complex that I almost threw in the towel, but thankfully I was able to do a lot of operations manually by hand that were failing in automation. Almost got a little too ambitious there!:lol:

I don't really like the way flickr has added sharpening to this photo, though.
