I started with the same kit and couldn't be happier.

Did you notice a huge difference coming from your t3i with 28-135m

I made the same jump only from a T2i with a Sigma 18-50 and some other lenses. The 24-105L is a great lens, I just get bored using it. If you're a "zoom guy" then I think you'll love it ;) My signature is arranged basically in order of which lenses I use the most. Though the 35/2 is used almost exclusively on the M these days... I don't find it to be wide enough on FF (I'm a 50mm guy, some people prefer 35, some prefer 50, few prefer both).

495, what lens did you use? Nice work by you and your model, but I'm finding the background and fringing around the trees very distracting in the shot. I checked the original version in Flickr and its there as well.

I'm not really happy with the 24-105mm, the distortion at the wide end is quite terrible. And it's sharpness is quite mediocre compared to other lenses. Moved to the 24-70mm II as soon as I could afford it.

I bought the same kit and use the 24-105 on my T3i and 6D. I was using the 18-135 previously on the
T3i. There is some wide end distortion that is easily fixed and mine is very sharp. Not as good as my 70-200 F4 L IS, but perfectly acceptable.

I wasn't totally satisfied with my 24-105 until I did the micro adjust for it. The distortion at the wide end isn't that bad IMHO and can be fixed fairly easily, the lack of sharpness is what bothered me but now with the MA done it does just fine.

Just made the move to full frame late yesterday afternoon with the purchase of the 6D. I'm so excited. It's what I could afford and still not have to trade my 7D in. I'll be using my 24-105mm and 50mm nearly all the time. I spent time reading the manual and charging batteries last night. Hope to get out for a bit today and do some real world pictures. The weekends coming up, and will be outside doing lots of photography.

Those of you that went crop to full frame, was there any adjustment for you. If so, what was it? Just camera adjustment? I found myself looking for the joy stick last night.

Wow! Are you still here? It seems like just yesterday you said, "i think after all these years i will buy the new nikon D7100 and sell all my canon gear". What happened?

The trickiest bit is getting used to where all the buttons are and how the menus are laid out differently.

You'll notice a difference in how your photos look (the colours seem a little more natural) and how far you can push them in post processing. I think you'll be particularly happy with the low light performance of the 6D.

Also, it's like gaining a load of new lenses as each will have a much wider field of view than they did on the other camera.

Presently looking at the 6D body, many impressive images here......wOw.

I've been shooting with a 5D Mk1 body for nearly two years and loved it, so I recently sold it and bought a mint/boxed/low shutter count 5D Mk II body which I've only had for two weeks but experiencing focus problems with this, so annoying in fact I'm returning it and getting my money back.

I can't afford the 5D Mk III body, so I'm currently looking at the 6D as an alternative, what do youse guys think.....?
Any trouble with 6D's at all ?

If you were fine with the AF on your 5D, you'll love the 6D. ;)
