The 24-105L is a great lens, I just get bored using it. If you're a "zoom guy" then I think you'll love it Fuji X-T3 // Fuji X-Pro2 (Full Spectrum) // Fuji X-H1 // Fuji X-T1

Nice work by you and your model, but I'm finding the background and fringing around the trees very distracting in the shot. I checked the original version in Flickr and its there as well. 6D | 35 f2 | 50 1.8 | 85 1.8 | 28 - 135 f3.5 - 5.6 | 70-210 f4

I'm not really happy with the 24-105mm, the distortion at the wide end is quite terrible. And it's sharpness is quite mediocre compared to other lenses. Moved to the 24-70mm II as soon as I could afford it. Canon 5D Mark III - Leica M240

greenjeans Goldmember More info | Aug 29, 2013 07:43 | #4762 I bought the same kit and use the 24-105 on my T3i and 6D. I was using the 18-135 previously on the 6D, 6DII, 70D, 80D, R10, RP, Lumix DC-FZ80 and a bag full of lenses.

Aug 29, 2013 08:00 | #4763 I wasn't totally satisfied with my 24-105 until I did the micro adjust for it. The distortion at the wide end isn't that bad IMHO and can be fixed fairly easily, the lack of sharpness is what bothered me but now with the MA done it does just fine. Aaron

Aug 29, 2013 08:37 | #4764 Just made the move to full frame late yesterday afternoon with the purchase of the 6D. I'm so excited. It's what I could afford and still not have to trade my 7D in. I'll be using my 24-105mm and 50mm nearly all the time. I spent time reading the manual and charging batteries last night. Hope to get out for a bit today and do some real world pictures. The weekends coming up, and will be outside doing lots of photography. Canon 6D & 7D. Panasonic GX85 and a number of ever changing lenses.

It seems like just yesterday you said, "i think after all these years i will buy the new nikon D7100 and sell all my canon gear". What happened? Dave

If so, what was it? Just camera adjustment? I found myself looking for the joy stick last night. The trickiest bit is getting used to where all the buttons are and how the menus are laid out differently. Jo

I've been shooting with a 5D Mk1 body for nearly two years and loved it, so I recently sold it and bought a mint/boxed/low shutter count 5D Mk II body which I've only had for two weeks but experiencing focus problems with this, so annoying in fact I'm returning it and getting my money back. I can't afford the 5D Mk III body, so I'm currently looking at the 6D as an alternative, what do youse guys think.....? Any trouble with 6D's at all ? If you were fine with the AF on your 5D, you'll love the 6D. Fuji X-T3 // Fuji X-Pro2 (Full Spectrum) // Fuji X-H1 // Fuji X-T1
