B and H has a 400$ gift card if you buy the kit for 2500$ with the printer.. can't beat that . Best Buy would not match. (plus they are always extremely pushy in there and if I am coming into look at a 2500.00 kit. I don't want the guy that has a point and shoot telling me how to turn it on when he does not know what a DSLR is.)

I think that deal from B and H is excellent. The kit for 2100$ is a steal.

I don't think Best Buy even carries that model printer, so matching was probably not possible, but it is written Best Buy policy to match both Amazon and B&H. Best Buy did match B&H at $2199.00 when I bought my 6D/24-105 in April before the printer/rebate deal. I still don't know why but they told me they could do even better and I got the kit for $2124.00 when all I had asked for was a match. They also matched B&H for me on a 600EX-RT, and a 70-200 F4L.

Haven't posted on here in a bit, been using the EOS M mostly, but I took it to the MD Rennisance Festival with me yesterday with my "new" Yashica ML 50/1.7 and I think I have a new favorite lens :)

So I got a 6D for crazy money ($600) at an estate sale.

I've been using 7D + 17-55 and have been happy with it but wanted to know what a similar jump to an L lens would be.

I mainly shoot my son for school events and random occasions.

So jealous! The 6D would be the perfect compliment to my 7D. WOW!!! Give your impressions asap! :)

Did you try the Canon Loyalty Program? Not sure if the 6D is part of it you can always ask. It gives you an additional 15% off the $1599 making it $1359.15 +tax if it is part of the program. To get the 15% off you just need to send in a broken Canon camera for recycling.

That would be one amazing deal. I see that whanner already tried and 6d is excluded.

So my choice for 6D vs 7D for me will be about image quality when paired with the same lens

I'll test it out with the my Sigma 70-200 and after that will decide which I'll sell to fund my next lens purchase

Based on what you said you shoot. I think there will be a 7D for sale in your future. :)

But dibbs if you sell the 6D. :D
