Way to make the most of a bad situation Nick! I agree, send those in to the paper or local tv channels, they would eat that up. great stuff. Sigma 50mm?

Asahi Pentax 50 Super Takumar 1.4:D, but I PLAN on the new sigma art 50 if all is as expected....I hated 50 on crop, love it on 6D.

I got a bunch from today, including the lake spillover and cars headlights deep, none of it was meant to be photographically awesome as much as just capture a memory. Houses are cool, neighbors on the other side were about 4" from another lake spilling into my neighborhood and that would have gotten interesting, but it is down 8" or so from those pics now. Now I have to work all day tomorrow:mad:

Everything is relative.
Gear: 6D, Unholy Trinity:twisted: (24Lii, sigma 50A, 135L), and for the other ends of the spectrum, sigmaEX 14mm2.8 and sigmaEX 100-300F4.
Fuji X-e2, Rokinon 8 2.8 Fisheye II, Fuji 14 2.8, Fuji 18-55, Fuji 23 1.4

A few more.

ISO6400 @ 1.4 in the dark this morning. Hard to tell how deep it is because it is so clear, but there are 1 ft. shrubs around that small palm underwater and I was shin deep snapping it.

I'm glad the image has caught your attention. :) Our local news wouldn't likely be interested. It's blase to us locals.

I often see the frozen effect. This gentleman just seemed to not quite fit for the neighborhood. I didn't even notice that he didn't have a shadow. It was sunny at the time.

The lake isn't frozen over. Some years it has though.

I gotta admit, I also thought it too be a 'photoshop' creation. My sincere apologies.

No worries. :) I find it interesting that you thought it was manipulated. Was it the lack of shadow?
