That's a very nice setup! But i want pics for proof!
I also got the LCD-2 (bamboo) yesterday, love them, and i have the Hifiman HE-500, also very good headphones

Just be aware of what your buying, fitted vs non fitted. I have the fitted variety and keep it mounted at all times. No chance of it falling off, since it is fitted. It's relatively small and light, so no need to take it apart. For me, it's one of the most essential accessories I have. If you don't plan on keeping it on all the time, then a cheapo non fitted will be fine..... But once you use it, you don't go back.... It's fantastic.

BTW, I do have a really inexpensive Desmond tripod foot, and it's really well made.

I'm not sure what fitted vs. non-fitted means in this context.
