The only problem I have with it, and this may just be me, is the lack of detail or definition to her face. It seems kinda blown in that range (she seems on the pale side, which doesn't help).

I agree. I like your usual style better CJ, but nothing wrong with practicing new stuff, I wish I had more patience with LR to come up with more than what I do

Just a punchy, relatively low contrast look.

I like it, has a very Miami-type of feel to it.

I really like the processing on this, nice capture.

How are you liking that lens?

Hi! Just sold my 5Dc few weeks ago and will upgrade to 6D this June. Will gonna use it in sports (basketball) alongside with my 7D. I always use center AF so I think it would be an issue, in fact before I prefer using my 60D over my 7D.

Anyways, just want to ask what are the common issue (if there's any) encountered by 6D users? Or anything like that. Some precautions, how to avoid or it is normal/critical.

Thanks!

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I can go back and add a bit of contrast/color to her face -- also just trying something different since I haven't been able to shoot lately.

Thanks -- this was actually pulled out of lightroom into a different program as suggested by another member.

Thank you. Didn't see it that way until you pointed it out.

6D isn't allowed for sports, so I don't know what you are going to do. ;)

Jk. No real big issues to report. Enjoy it.

It's OK, I prefer my Yashica ML 28/2.8 though. I got the Vivitar for a really look price, I wouldn't recommend paying their usual going price which is often over $150 unless you really wanted the unique bokeh characteristics.

Hi thanks for sharing! :) You always use Center AF? Though I know someone who's a pro sports photographer here, his gear is 5DII and he had no issues so far.

And by the way are you Filipino?

Nicki, the 6D is not the premier body for sport. It is limited in it's focus points and many people swear is never focuses unless you use center point. I have a 6D and I have no issues with outer focus points, but I don't shoot fast action. The other thing is the FPS of the 6D is not particularly speedy. Again, if just depends on your expectations. If you NEED high frames per second, then I would look at the 1DX or the 7D for those moments.
I have to say, I am more than happy with my 6D since acquiring it recently. I took all of the considerations that others had mentioned and for the price, I was more than happy with what I got. Just make sure you are realistic in what you expect it to do. You can at this point get a refurbed 5DII for about the same price as a refurbed 6D. It is up to you to decide which will work better for what you need it for. I shoot low light sports and the sensor on the 6D absolutely kills it in those conditions.

For sports, I've only really used the center, but I only used the center with my previous 60D also.

And I am. What gave it away?
